Terms and Conditions

The lessee must return the vehicle to Afaq Plus (with all its tires, instruments, and tools) in the same condition as received upon the end of the contract.

Afaq Plus has the right to retrieve the vehicle from the lessee at any time by canceling the contract without justification or a court order.

The lessee must:

• Hold a valid Driver's License with the UAE Traffic and Licensing Department.
• Provide original Emirates ID/Passport and Driving License as a guarantee without any pressure.
• Pay all costs related to vehicle rent, traffic fines, toll gates (Salik and Darb), damage, mechanical faults, and any accidents during the rental period.
• Submit all necessary paperwork and payments to the company.
• Refuel the vehicle (Special Green) at their own expense.
• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or any substances that impair judgment.
• Avoid transporting prohibited or illegal items inside the vehicle.
• Not park in prohibited or unsecured places.
• Not hand over the vehicle to anyone not mentioned in this contract or lacking a valid UAE-approved driving license.
• Refrain from racing, towing, or exceeding speed limits.
• Avoid using the vehicle for public transportation of passengers or goods.
• Not take the vehicle outside UAE borders.

In the event of an accident:

• Stay at the scene and contact Afaq Plus immediately.
• Notify traffic police to conduct inspection and survey.
• Do not pay or negotiate compensation with others. The lessee is responsible for any damages payable to Afaq Plus.
• Inform the rental office and bear the necessary insurance costs (AED 1,500 if at fault) plus 25% of the total repair amount.
• The rent will continue to accrue until repairs are completed.
• An additional AED 500 service charge applies to the office.

All vehicles are fully insured, but:

• The lessee must abide by the insurance company’s rules. A copy of the insurance policy is available upon request.
• Insurance does NOT cover:
  • Accidents outside UAE borders.
  • Serious traffic violations (e.g., crossing a red light).
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Handing over the vehicle to unauthorized drivers.
• The lessee pays a deductible (e.g., AED 1,500) if damages lead to a total vehicle loss.

• The lessee bears all fines incurred during the rental period.
• If the vehicle is impounded, the lessee is responsible for clearing all penalties and returning the vehicle in good condition.
• The lessee is responsible for repair costs if the vehicle is damaged or retained by authorities.
• If the hirer’s age is less than twenty-five (25) years or the driving license is less than six (6) months from the date of issue, they will bear complete responsibility for any accident or damage caused during the rental period.
• Daily rent is based on 24 hours. Any delay will incur extra charges, and delays exceeding 3 hours will be charged as a full day’s rent.
• If returning the vehicle before the agreed weekly, monthly, or annual term, the daily rental price will apply.
• Any scratches will be charged AED 500.
• Smoking inside the car is prohibited. A fine of AED 500 will apply.
• The office may disable the vehicle if dues are not paid during the rental period.
• If involved in a police case or court action, AED 7,000 will be added for processing.
• If the lessee damages the vehicle engine, they will bear the full repair expenses.
• The office has the right to automatically transfer violations to the driver's license without court intervention if the lessee refuses to pay fines.
• In case the rent is not paid within one month, the contract changes from monthly to daily terms.
• The lessee may not lease, hand over, mortgage, or sell the vehicle to others. Violations will hold both lessee and guarantor responsible for any damages, without insurance compensation.
• The lessee must return the car with the same fuel level and cleanliness as received. Charges apply if not adhered to.
• The lessee cannot repair the car without informing the office. Unauthorized repairs will result in the office repairing the car at the lessee's expense.

This contract is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically Abu Dhabi.

The lessee must pay the rent amount in advance along with a Security Deposit of AED 1,500 for a UAE Driving License and AED 2,000 for an International Driving License. The Security Deposit will be returned within fifteen (15) days for UAE licenses and thirty (30) days for International Licenses after handing over the car, provided all terms are met.

The office cannot receive the returned vehicle on Fridays after 12:00 PM, Saturdays, and National Holidays.
